Temptation is the desire to live
  independently from God. The battle for the throne in our lives has been won by Jesus, He is God.

If we desire true spiritual freedom we need to deny ourselves (desire to be in charge) take up the cross & follow Jesus - Luke 9:23
Following Jesus produces freedom & spiritual authority to deliver us from self-seeking. Jesus is the King He shares power with nobody... surrender brings The Father's  blessing & favour

Truth & Unity

The best way to promote unity is to promote truth  -- unknown
Unity that will stand the test of time needs a foundation of truth
Rebels can unite in their cause but if its not based on truth they will eventually destroy one another
W Churchill said ~ "Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
Truth is the only thing that seperates  light from dark. Matt 6: 23 - "..if the light within you is darkness, how great is the darkness!" (Jesus)
Truth is the unifying liberating thing that sets us free when we learn to love it!
Truth is not seasonal, it's eternal
